Privacy is important to the London Paediatrics. This statement applies to the website, any published articles and may include information pertaining to London Paediatrics events.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

Users are encouraged to read this policy and to contact the editorial board/ data handler if any concerns.

What information do we collect?

We collect information on names and workplace addresses as part of submission of content. These are held in the public domain, assocaited with published content,  as per routine in academia. We do also collect emails but these are only shared with consent as part of academic submission.

How do we use personal information?

Information collected is routinely used as part of academic publishing but may also be used as part of development and marketing information for London Paediatrics and the London Journal of Paediatrics. This list is not exhaustive but all purposes for which personal data is processed will be recorded.

What legal basis do we have for processing your personal data?

In publishing robust academic work, it is in the public interest to collect some personal data (listed above). Consent from contributors will be taken at time of submission.

How do we secure personal data and disposal length of data?

We retain the information we collect for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes set forth in this Privacy Policy or as long as we are legally required or permitted to do so.

All authors consenting at submission of study may withdraw data at anytime and may seek access to any data held by the London Journal of Paediatrics, according to current data laws. We value any contribution or feedback.
